Nestled in the heart of Dufferin County, just an hour's drive from the bustling GTA, Hereward Farms offers a serene country escape that's closer than you think. Our 250-acre working farm in East Garafraxa, Ontario, is not just a sight to behold but a vibrant community hub, brimming with life and the sweet scent of lavender.

Our farm is a living tapestry of nature's finest with over 6,000 lavender plants, 200,000 sunflowers, and seasonal crops like hay, corn, soybeans, or wheat. But what truly sets us apart are our beloved lavender varieties - Phenomenal, Munstead, and Hidcote and that we are the only sustainable lavender farm in Ontario. These fields, accessible from June to September, are a testament to our love for these fragrant blooms. And let's not forget our sunflower fields, a golden sea of joy open from July to August.

A Glimpse into Farm Life

At Hereward Farms, we're more than just a farm; we're a family. Our Lavender Lounge + Boutique, open year-round, is a cozy nook where you can experience our commitment to all-natural, farm-to-skin, and farm-to-home products made right here on the farm. And for those who love a hands-on experience, our Cut Your Own Lavender and Sunflowers offer a unique connection to the land (availability permitting).

Family and Pet-Friendly Fun

We understand that adventures are best shared with loved ones, including our furry friends. While we ask that dogs remain on a leash and outside the lavender fields, they're more than welcome to join in on the fun across the rest of the property.
